Call for Short Papers

To accommodate authors who were not able to submit full length articles to our conference by the deadline, and to give them opportunity to still contribute to our event, we are proposing a supplementary CFP for short papers and posters, with more relaxed deadline.

Authors are invited to submit proposals for short papers of recent results, work in progress, and new ideas within the topics of the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the short or poster papers section of the Springer LNCS ICIAR 2016 proceedings. The page limit for short papers is 6 pages and for poster papers is 4 pages (1-column Springer LNCS format), including an abstract, all text, figures, tables and references.

The sessions will comprise invited keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations and a panel discussion.

Paper Format

The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (Springer LNCS). Authors should refer to the Author's Instructions on Springer's web site for more information on paper format and to download the style/template files. Please note that instructions on Springer's web site may refer to the "camera-ready" version of a paper. Authors can use the same instructions for their first submission, as well as for the camera-ready version upon acceptance of their papers. (Authors are not required to submit a copyright form with their first submission.)

Paper Submission

Only electronic submission will be accepted through the conference paper submission web page.

Important: Select paper type "Short Paper" or "Poster Paper" when submitting your paper.

Please use only PDF or PostScript format for the submitted paper. If your paper is accepted you will be asked to submit the source of the camera-ready version of your paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Acceptable formats for the source version are LaTeX and Microsoft Word (LaTeX is preferred), using Springer's style/template files.
