Camera-Ready Papers

Authors of accepted papers are required to submit the camera-ready version of their paper by April 5, 2018. Registration is required by April 11, 2018 for the paper to be included in the proceedings.

The conference proceedings will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (Springer LNCS). Authors should refer to the Author's Instructions on Springer's LNCS web site for details on paper format and to download the style/template files.

Camere-ready Instructions

  1. The number of pages is restricted to 8 pages for full papers, and 6 pages for short papers. The format is single-column, according to Springer LNCS style files. For full papers a maximum of 2 additional pages are allowed for an extra fee per page (see registration page for details on fees). NOTE: Short papers are restricted to 6 pages only with no extra page allowance.

    Springer LNCS author instructions:

Please carefully take into account the reviewers' comments when preparing the camera-ready version. You can view the reviews through your online account:

    1. Login to the ICIAR 2018 conferece management system at:
    2. Click "Review Result" under the paper title.
    3. The scores given by each reviewer for various criteria are shown.
    4. To access the comments of each reviewer, click "Review #" at the top of each review scores column.
  2. Submit the source files and PDF of your camera-ready paper. The PDF file only is not sufficient.

    For papers prepared using LaTeX:

    • the source (input) files: LaTeX files for the text and PS/EPS or PDF/JPG files for all figures,
    • any further style files and fonts you have used together with your source files and that are not generally available at CTAN,
    • the final PDF file (for reference).

For papers prepared using Microsoft Word:

    • the source (input) files: DOC/DOCX file,
    • the final PDF file (for reference).

The texts in all files must be identical.

NOTE: Please do adhere strictly to Springer's template files. Any modifications of the default text area size, margins, or font size will cause a delay in the processing of your paper. The paper will be re-formatted according to Springer's templates which may result in a change in the number of pages.

Create a zip file containing all these items and upload it at conference web site. You can submit more than once, in which case old versions will be overwritten.

    To upload the camera-ready version:

    • Login using your account at:
    • Click the "Upload Camera-Ready Paper" command underneath your paper title to upload the camera-ready version.
    • Make sure the file was uploaded successfully by downloading it from the server and checking its contents. NOTE: Hit CTRL+F5 to force reloading the file from the server in case it is cached by your browser.

    • Download the copyright form.
    • Rename the file to "copyright<PaperID>.pdf", e.g. "copyright253.pdf".
    • Complete and sign the copyright form (it is sufficient if one author from each contribution signs the form on behalf of all the other authors.)

    • Send a scanned copy to: [email protected], indicating in the subject: "ICIAR 2018: Copyright form for paper ID", where ID is the ID of your paper.

NOTE: The type of presentation of your paper (oral or poster) will be defined after closing the period for final submission and author registration, and will be based on the fit of papers into sessions.
