ICIAR 2020 IS NOW A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
Based on the opinion of a majority of those who participated in the poll last week, and the news released by the health authorities regarding COVID-19, the conference chairs and the organizing committee decided to move ICIAR 2020 to a virtual conference. We want to thank you for supporting and understanding this change for a virtual conference.
We are now working on this new modality, and the full details will be announced as soon as we have prepared all the conditions to held an exciting and a rewarding new way of networking and presentation of scientific work.
Although all the conditions are not yet fully defined, we are now able to guarantee the following:
- All the papers will be presented by an author of an accepted paper in a time slot depending on the type of paper, with a maximum of 15 min. Details will be provided soon;
- Authors will be also asked to be available for Q&A, after the paper presentations;
- The conference will be held on the dates already established for the conference, between 24th to 26th, June 2020;
- All the accepted papers will be published by Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science, and the conference proceedings will be available online during the conference;
- Certificate of participation will be issued for those who presented their papers, or registered and attended the virtual conference;
- The registration fees are reduced by approximately 40%.
